How SellerActive Uses Your Amazon Data
When you connect your Amazon Seller Central account to SellerActive by Cart.com, you authorize us to access your account through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). This article explains what we access, why, how long we keep it, and who we share it with.
What we access and why| Data | Why we use it |
| Listings and catalog data (SKUs, ASINs, titles, attributes, images, product types, listing restrictions) | Import your catalog, create and update your Amazon listings, and keep listings in sync across your channels |
| Inventory (FBA and merchant-fulfilled quantities, inbound shipments) | Sync quantities across channels and manage FBA inbound shipments |
| Pricing and fees (your prices, competitive offers, Buy Box, estimated fees) | Run the repricing strategies you configure and show estimated margins |
| Orders | Import your orders, update inventory, and send shipment confirmation and tracking back to Amazon |
| Buyer shipping information (name, address, phone) for merchant-fulfilled orders | Ship your orders: display them to you, send them to your fulfillment provider, and buy shipping labels |
| Reports, feeds and notifications | Bulk import and update data, and receive real-time changes from Amazon |
| Financial transactions | Show order-level fees and payouts in your reports |
We use your Amazon data only to provide SellerActive features to you. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with other sellers' data or use it to benefit other sellers.
Data retention- Buyer personal information (name, address, phone) is automatically removed 30 days after the order date.
- Other account data (listings, inventory, prices, order history without buyer details) is kept while your account is active, so you can manage and report on your business. Contact support to request deletion when you close your account.
- You and the users you authorize on your SellerActive account.
- The fulfillment providers and shipping carriers you connect (for example, your 3PL or warehouse system), only so they can ship your orders.
- We do not share your Amazon data with anyone else, except where required by law.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to authorized Cart.com staff who need it to support you. See the Cart.com Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more information.
Revoking accessYou can disconnect SellerActive at any time from Settings > Integrations, or in Seller Central under Apps and Services > Manage Your Apps. Once access is revoked, we can no longer retrieve data from your Amazon account.
