AUSTIN, TX—September 7, 2022—Cart.com, which enables retail brands to quickly scale their businesses and easily sell across every channel, today announced that it has appointed Rachel Truair as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately. Truair comes to Cart.com with almost a decade of experience in enterprise and small and midsize business marketing at companies including Confluent, Adobe, Magento, Oracle and 3M. Reporting directly to Gary Specter, President, Go-To-Market, Truair will work closely with the Sales, Business Development, Value Realization and Partnership teams and will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, including brand awareness, product marketing, corporate marketing and demand generation.

“I am thrilled to join the Cart.com team and contribute to the company’s significant momentum in helping brands scale, sell and offer consumers best-in-class e-commerce experiences,” said Truair.  “The Cart.com culture, vision and technology offering in today’s market is unparalleled  and I look forward to working for such an innovative company.”

Truair joins Cart.com from Confluent, a category creator in data streaming, where she most recently served as Vice President of Campaigns, Digital and Partner Marketing. Prior to that, Truair ran global campaigns for two years at Adobe, where she focused on the content and commerce space. She was promoted to a global leadership role after Adobe’s $1.7 billion acquisition of Magento in 2018. At Adobe, Truair managed a portfolio budget supporting a $250 million revenue target across three products, global campaigns strategy and content marketing strategy.

“Rachel is a strong and capable leader and her experience in marketing makes her a valuable addition to the Cart.com team,” said Gary Specter, President, Go-To-Market of Cart.com. “I had the pleasure of working with her at Magento and Adobe, and I’m looking forward to working with her again and leveraging her significant campaign experience to take the business to the next level.”
